Heavy-duty weld-on bucket edges manufactured from high-grade Boron Alloy Steel with a hardness rating of 400-500 Hb, offering exceptional wear resistance for demanding earthmoving and excavation applications.

The single bevel profile is designed for straightforward site welding, with a chamfered edge that facilitates a strong, reliable fillet weld. Available in a range of lengths, widths, and thicknesses to suit a variety of bucket sizes and machine classes.

Welding Instructions: Apply a 30° chamfer to the bucket edge. Clean all surfaces thoroughly before assembly. Clamp securely, then tack weld in several positions before applying a full fillet weld. Recommended electrodes: AWS-E7018 (pre-heat to 300°C), AWS-E110-18G (pre-heat to 100°C), or AWS-E307/E312 (no pre-heat). Allow weld to cool naturally — avoid rapid cooling to prevent thermal shock and cracking. Observe all applicable health and safety regulations.
