A Victorian Classic – The Standard for Reliability and Heavy Yields.

First introduced in the late 1800s, Broad Bean ‘Bunyards Exhibition’ remains one of the most popular varieties in the UK for a reason. It is the quintessential heritage "Longpod," prized by generations of gardeners for its incredible vigor and its ability to produce a heavy crop even in challenging conditions. Whether you are growing for the kitchen table or the local flower show, Bunyards is a dependable performer that never goes out of style.

Each pack contains 50 seeds, providing an abundant supply of large, succulent beans. This variety is famous for its long, slender pods that hang in heavy clusters, each packed with 6 to 8 creamy-white, flavorful beans. Because it is exceptionally hardy, it is one of the best varieties for autumn sowing, allowing you to get a head start on the season and harvest your beans weeks ahead of your neighbors.

Why ‘Bunyards Exhibition’ is a garden essential:

Time-Tested Reliability: A heritage variety that has stood the test of time, known for its strong germination and consistent yields.

Exhibition Quality: Produces long, straight, and uniform pods that are a favorite for competitive growers and home enthusiasts alike.

Superior Hardiness: One of the most resilient varieties, making it ideal for over-wintering or early spring sowings.

Classic Flavor: Offers the traditional, rich "nutty" flavor of a true heritage broad bean, perfect for classic British summer dishes.
