Feeding information

Puzzle Feeds Llama and Alpaca Maintenance Mix is designed to maintain adult alpacas and llamas in good condition. It is not designed for growing, gestating or lactating animals, or for fibre animals. This diet is designed to complement grass hay or pasture.

The mix is high in fibre and low in grain, supporting gut health and helping to reduce the risk of acidosis. It also contains a slow-release buffer to help maintain optimum stomach health and pH, supporting normal microbial activity.

Feeding rate

Feed with water and ad libitum hay or good-quality pasture. Divide the daily feeding rates into two feeds and do not exceed these rates.

• Alpacas: up to 300g per day
• Llamas: up to 800g per day
