PM 85 Road Verge – Durable Verge & Embankment Grass Seed Mix for Roads & Verges

PM 85 Road Verge is a specially formulated turf seed mixture from Masterline, designed for use on road verges, embankments, roadside slopes and similar areas — particularly where soils may be poor, conditions harsh (salinity, exhaust fumes) or maintenance minimal. The mix includes a tetraploid perennial ryegrass for fast establishment and deep rooting (as a nurse crop), combined with creeping‑red and hard fescues, browntop bent and a small proportion of white clover. This combination creates a stable, salt‑ and pollution‑tolerant sward that establishes quickly, establishes a firm root base to resist wash‑out on slopes, and maintains a neat verge appearance with only occasional mowing (typically twice a year, mowing height 75‑100 mm).
