Tonic Perennial Forage Plantain Seeds - Mineral-Rich Grazing Herb

Tonic Plantain is the market-leading variety of broad-leaved perennial herb, highly productive and specifically bred to provide protein and mineral-rich forage for grazing livestock. With a deep tap root, Tonic is renowned for its drought tolerance, providing valuable feed and rapid regrowth during dry summer months when grass growth is often suppressed.

It is an ideal companion in multi-species swards alongside grasses and clovers, offering a unique profile of minerals (including selenium and copper) that supports improved liveweight gain and general animal health, particularly in lambs.

  • Drought Tolerance: Deep root system allows it to draw moisture and nutrients from depth, ensuring summer feed security.

  • Increased Productivity: Highly palatable feed stimulates intakes, leading to improved liveweight gain and higher milk production in ewes.
